On the Standard (fully managed) plan you pay 5% + $0.50 on each successful transaction. There are no monthly fees, no setup fees and no charges for refunds beyond the original transaction fee.
For example, on a $20.00 sale the fee is $20.00 × 5% + $0.50 = $1.50, and $18.50 is credited to your balance (before applicable buyer-side taxes, which we collect and remit separately as the seller of record). On a $100.00 sale the fee is $5.50 and $94.50 is credited.
Because we act as your seller of record, that single fee already covers tax calculation and remittance across 90+ regions, settlement, payouts, refund and dispute handling, invoicing, the hosted checkout and the SDKs. You do not pay separate vendors for tax, billing and checkout.
Standard (fully managed) is the default and recommended path: self-serve onboarding, fully managed tax and compliance, and a transparent per-transaction price. It is ideal for creators, indie developers and SaaS teams who want to start selling immediately.
Direct (PSP) is a secondary option for established teams with their own acquiring relationships who need funds settled directly to their account and granular control over routing. No. The Standard (fully managed) plan is purely transaction-based at 5% + $0.50 per sale. There are no monthly fees, setup fees or minimums.
The 5% + $0.50 is our service fee. Buyer-side VAT/GST/sales tax is calculated, collected and remitted by us as the seller of record, separately from your revenue, so you never handle it.
